The Building Codes Division issues the Journeyman Plumber license and the Plumbing Business license, which lets a business furnish labor and material, or labor only, to install, change and repair plumbing but does not let the holder work as a journeyman without an individual license.
The Building Codes Division issues individual electrical licenses, including general supervising electrician and journeyman electrician, and an Electrical Contractor license that allows a company to engage in the business of making electrical installations.
The Building Codes Division issues a Restricted Energy Contractor license limited to heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) activities, and a Limited Maintenance Specialty Contractor HVAC/R license for maintaining, servicing, repairing or replacing commercial and industrial equipment that produces heat, power, refrigeration or air conditioning.
