Do I need a QuickBooks Payments account to use this integration?
Yes. Payments are processed through your own QuickBooks Payments account, which means funds go directly to your bank. IntelliDrive does not process payments on your behalf — we simply generate the payment link and sync the data.
What data syncs between IntelliDrive OS and QuickBooks?
Everything: invoices with full line items, payments, partial and full refunds, voids, customer profiles, tax codes, tips (as separate line items), and credit card processing fees. The sync is bidirectional and happens in real time.
How are tips handled in QuickBooks?
Tips are added as a separate line item on the QuickBooks invoice, not lumped into the sale total. This keeps your accounting clean and makes it easy to report on tip income separately.
Can my customers pay with ACH bank transfer?
Yes. When a customer opens the payment link, they can choose to pay with credit card or ACH bank transfer. ACH transfers typically have lower processing fees than credit cards.
What happens if I refund a sale in IntelliDrive?
The refund is automatically synced to QuickBooks Online. For credit card payments, the refund is processed through QuickBooks Payments back to the customer's card. Both partial and full refunds are supported.
Is there a setup fee or extra charge for the QuickBooks integration?
No. The QuickBooks integration is included in every IntelliDrive OS plan at no additional cost. You only pay the standard QuickBooks Payments processing fees set by Intuit.
