Every payment link asks the customer to sign the right statement first. If they dispute the charge later, the record is already built, and on Square you answer the dispute from IntelliDrive.
Chargeback evidence is part of every IntelliDrive OS account at $79/month. Every payment link opens a signing page first: the customer reads a statement that fits the moment (a finished job, a service-call deposit or a special-order part), signs and accepts your terms before they can pay.
IntelliDrive keeps the signature, the exact wording and terms, the time, the IP address and device, photos your technician attached to the sale, and the location when the customer’s browser shares it, and saves a PDF evidence packet to the customer’s file.
Businesses that take payments through Square also get dispute management: disputes are copied in, matched to the sale and answered from the app.
It is evidence, not a guarantee; the bank decides every dispute.
Create the sale and send a payment link by text or email through your own QuickBooks Payments, Square or Stripe account. The link creation and each send are logged.
The link opens IntelliDrive’s signing page with the statement for that kind of sale and your full terms. The customer can add a tip, signs with a finger and ticks the box to accept the terms.
The pay button unlocks only after the signature and the acceptance. The customer then continues to your QuickBooks Payments, Square or Stripe checkout.
The signature, wording, time, IP address, device and any shared location are stored with the sale, and a PDF evidence packet is saved to the customer’s Photos & Docs.
IntelliDrive copies the dispute in, matches it to the sale, rebuilds the packet and emails your owners the deadline with the packet attached.
On the Disputes page, review the drafted rebuttal, edit it, upload the evidence to Square and submit it as a separate, final step.
A payment link from IntelliDrive opens a signing page with your business name, the items and the total. Above the signature box is a short statement written for that kind of sale, and below it your full terms.
The customer signs with a finger or mouse and ticks the box to accept the terms. The pay button stays locked until both are done. The page asks the browser for the customer’s location; if they decline, they can still pay. Then they continue to your QuickBooks Payments, Square or Stripe checkout, and the money goes to your account with that processor.
IntelliDrive picks the wording from the kind of sale, because a statement that fits one moment is false at another. Each kind has its own packet title in the evidence file.
Yes. IntelliDrive comes with default wording for the service acknowledgment, the cancellation policy, the special-order part terms and the completed-work terms. In Settings you can replace any of them with your own, and each company you run can have its own. Whatever the customer was shown is stored word for word with their signature, so the screen and the record always match.
Everything is kept with the sale and goes into the evidence packet:
The packet is a PDF laid out the way an issuing bank reads a dispute: a short factual summary, the legal name of the company that issued the sale, the customer’s contact details, the amount, date, card and processor reference, what was done or ordered and where, the itemized receipt, the access log, the wording the customer signed, the terms clause that applies with the full terms as an appendix, the signature and the photos.
It is saved to the customer’s Photos & Docs the moment they sign, so it is ready before anyone files a dispute.
For businesses that take payments through Square, IntelliDrive copies every dispute into the Disputes page. Square notifies IntelliDrive when a dispute is filed, and IntelliDrive also checks Square every six hours in case a notice is missed.
Each dispute is matched to its sale by the Square payment or order number. If it cannot be matched, you can link the sale by hand. When a new dispute needs an answer, IntelliDrive builds the packet and emails your owners, or the address you choose, with the deadline and the packet attached. If less than 48 hours are left and nothing has been submitted, it sends one reminder.
On the Disputes page every dispute shows the time left to respond, the access log and the packet. IntelliDrive drafts a short rebuttal from the sale record; you can edit it, upload the evidence to Square, and then submit, which is final. You can also accept a dispute you do not want to fight.
The signing page, the record and the evidence packet work the same way with every processor. Copying disputes in and filing the response from IntelliDrive is available for Square only. With QuickBooks Payments or Stripe, download the packet from the customer’s Photos & Docs and upload it in your processor’s dispute process.
No. The bank and the card network decide every dispute. IntelliDrive collects evidence before the customer pays, including the signature, the accepted terms, the IP address and device, photos and the location when it is shared, and builds the packet a bank asks for, so you can answer with more than a receipt.
Yes. On a payment link the pay button stays locked until the customer signs and ticks the box to accept your terms. Then they continue to your QuickBooks Payments, Square or Stripe checkout.
No. The signing page asks the customer’s browser for its location. If the customer allows it, the location is saved with the signature. If they decline, they can still pay and the record simply has no location.
Square. Disputes on Square payments are copied into IntelliDrive, matched to the sale and answered from the Disputes page. With QuickBooks Payments or Stripe, the signing page and the evidence packet work the same way, and you upload the packet through your processor’s own dispute process.
Square notifies IntelliDrive when a dispute is filed, and IntelliDrive also checks Square every six hours. When a new dispute needs a response, your owners get an email with the deadline and the evidence packet attached, and one reminder if less than 48 hours are left and nothing has been submitted.
Yes. IntelliDrive drafts a short, factual rebuttal from the sale record. You can edit it, upload the evidence to Square and then submit as a separate step. Square does not allow changes after submission, so nothing is submitted until you click Submit.
Nothing extra. The signing page, the evidence packet and Square dispute management are part of every IntelliDrive account at $79 a month per business. Your payment processor’s own fees still apply.
